High Plains Percussion Academy is excited to announced the addition of Jeff Ludlow to the July 2023 camp staff.

“I am incredibly passionate about the marching arts, and I’m excited to join in the development of the future generation of marching percussionists in the High Plains region.”

Jeff has an already extensive history in the marching arts world; the list of ensembles his performance history includes 5 years at Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps (2 as section leader), IMPACT Percussion in WGI, Seismic Sound Drumline (as section leader), and Eruption Indoor Percussion.

Beyond performance, Jeff has taught at Bonney Lake HS, Davis HS, and West Valley HS for the last 5 years, and serves as the percussion caption head at West Valley; he also writes and arranges for Bellingham HS and West Valley HS.

In addition to teaching and performing, Jeff is currently in pursuit of his music education and percussion performance degrees at Central Washington University.

High Plains Percussion Academy is a five-day camp of comprehensive percussion education centered around marching and concert percussion. Developed, curated, and delivered by experienced educators, HPPA aims to raise the minimum threshold of education for middle school and high school percussion students in the high plains region.
